"The Life I Know" - The Itchyworms

A mixed-media stop motion music video made for The Itchyworms! Directed by Marie Jamora, with cinematography by Jason McLagan.

This music video was animated using two different stop motion mediums: three dimensional felted puppets and flat paper and felt puppets. Both the felted puppets and the flat paper/felt puppets were based on the same character designs, which the fabrication teams then interpreted in two different ways. Similarly, the stop motion sets were fabricated out of fabric for the dimensional puppets, and paper for the flat puppets.

The sets and puppets were fabricated over the course of two weeks by a team of three fabricators, and stop motion animation for the three minute music video was done over the course of three weeks by a team of two animators.
